Ensemble "Flutes & More", a very special
Chambermusic workshop - not only for flutes!

The goal is to combine the sound of instruments from the flute-family with reed- and doublereed-instruments like eg. bass-clarinet, bassoon, saxophones.

Special customized instrumentations may include on demand also vocals, drums and percussion as well as harp, cello and double-bass.

The results of this workshop shall be presented to the public as an open-air-concert in front of the church of Mistelbach (above the city-center) on August 17th, 2018.


Ziel des von Horst Hausleitner geleiteten Workshops ist es, den Teilnehmern neben den Kursinhalten vor allem Spaß am Saxophonspiel zu vermitteln. Darüber hinaus (durchs´s Spielen kommen d´Leut´z´samm´) sollen durch gegenseitiges Lernen Fortschritte erzielt und vielleicht der Anschluß an eine Band oder ein Saxophon-Ensemble erleichtert werden.

Inhalt: Schulung der Jazz-Phrasierungstechnik, Stilistik, Tonbildung, Intonation, Improvisation, Haltung, Atmung und die Erarbeitung mehrstimmiger Arrangements verschiedender Schwierigkeitsgrade und Stilistik..
