I suggest you start right away to learn it! This masterclass is recommended for harpsichord students, and all keyboard players who want to immerse themselves in harpsichord playing. We will work on touch, sound, articulation, ornamentation, and the diversity of style in harpsichord repertoire. Although the repertoire of my classes is free to chose for the students, I recommend to prepare 17th century music, French composers, and of course Bach and Scarlatti. Since a harpsichordist without tuning experience isn't a harpsichordist, I offer a hands-on workshop for historical temperaments. |
